Becca S. Shapiro is a young lawyer who has focused her career on helping clients navigate through a difficult time while achieving their goals.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona, Becca attended the SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. During law school, Becca was a student associate in the VanSickle Family Law Clinic where she got exposure to divorce and child custody matters, and continued as a Chief Student Associate to continue overseeing divorce cases and guiding students in the clinic. Becca was also a student associate in the W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic where she served as an Attorney Ad Litem/Guardian Ad Litem in Child Protective Services termination cases. Prior to joining Connatser Family Law as law clerk during law school, Becca was a law clerk at other Dallas area family law firms.
Becca is a member of Collaborative Law Dallas, and is working to service clients in Collaborative Family Law matters. While Becca enjoys litigation, she is also committed to helping clients in non-litigation matters such as premarital agreements, partition or exchange agreements, cohabitation agreements, and adoptions.
Becca and her husband live in Plano with their two dogs, Tucker and Maverick. Becca loves taking and teaching pure barre classes and is an avid Dallas Stars fan.
